Anannya Magazine
Corrections Policy
How we handle errors, clarifications, and article updates.
Anannya Magazine is committed to correcting factual errors promptly and transparently. Reader feedback helps us improve accuracy and accountability.
How to Request a Correction
To report a possible error, email [email protected] with the article link, the issue you found, and any supporting source or documentation.
Review Process
Editors review correction requests against the article, original sources, public records, and other reliable references where available. We may contact the reporter, contributor, or source before making a decision.
What We Correct
We correct factual errors, misspelled names, wrong dates, incorrect locations, inaccurate figures, broken context, attribution mistakes, and media captions that may mislead readers.
Clarifications and Updates
If an article is accurate but could be clearer, we may add a clarification. If a story develops after publication, we may update it with new verified information and keep the article date metadata accurate.
Correction Notes
Significant corrections should include a note explaining what was changed. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or style fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not alter the meaning of the article.
Article Removal
We generally preserve the public record. Removal is considered only in exceptional cases, such as legal risk, safety risk, duplicate publication, or serious ethical concern.
Response Time
We aim to review correction requests as quickly as possible. Complex requests may take longer when additional verification is needed.
Contact
Correction requests can be sent to [email protected].
